This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and property situated in Survey No.7/1 to an extent of 1 acre and 3 cents and Survey No.21/2 to an extent of 1 acre and 51 cents totally to an extent of 2 acres and 54 cents situated at Chettiyaragaram Village, Maduravoyal Firka and Taluk, Thiruvallur District on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner to the respondent on 23.10.2017, in accordance with law.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent.
3.Though the petitioner, in his prayer has sought for an adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and property, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's complaint may be directed to be considered by the respondent police. The petitioner's complaint in C.S.R. No.1151/2017 dated 25.10.2017 is for a criminal trespass against the respondents/defendants in the suit in O.S.No.247 of 2012, in which, the petitioner claims to have obtained the orders of permanent injunction.
4.In view of the limited prayer, the respondent shall consider the complaint in C.S.R. No.1151 of 2017 on his file and after following the due procedure of law, shall file an appropriate final report on the same. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
