JUDGMENT / ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
2. The petitioner claims to be the purchaser of the landed property admeasuring 518 square feet, out of 1040 square feet in S.No.83/5, 4(part) situated at Sivaprakasam Nagar, Puzhuthivakkam Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Kancheepuram District by way of registered sale deed bearing No.600/2008 on the file of Sub Registrar Office, Velachery and also claims to be in possession and enjoyment of the same right from the date of purchase. The petitioner had applied for sub-division of the property and for issuance of patta vide application dated 12.1.2015 and the same was returned by the office of the Tahsildar, Sholinganallur for complying with certain defects. It is the case of the petitioner that the defects pointed out by the office of the Tahsildar, Sholinganallur have been complied with and however, no orders have been passed so far. Therefore, the petitioner came forward to file the present writ petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
4. Though the petitioner prays for a larger relief, in the light of the stand taken and without going into the merits of the matter, directs the petitioner to give one more reminder representation to the second respondent along with the copy of this order as well as the copy of the application dt. 12.1.2015 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the second respondent upon receipt of the same, is directed to consider the application dated 12.1.2015 and the reminder representation to be submitted by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and after putting the concerned person/s on notice, shall pass appropriate orders within a further period of eight weeks and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the person/s concerned.
5. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs.
