According to the petitioner, the petitioner applied for the post of Post Graduate Assistant (History) under Tamil Medium Quota (PSTM) as per G.O.Ms.No.145, Personal and Administrative Reforms (S) Department, dated 30.09.2010. The respondent Board has not selected the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition before this Court.

Assailing the allegations made in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents submitted that the petitioner belongs to MBC (W) category. She has secured 89 marks. The last candidate selected under GT (T) and GT (W) (T) is 105, MBC (T) & MBC (W)(T) is 103 for the subject of Post Graduate Assistant (History). As the petitioner has not secured the cut off marks, the petitioner was not selected. Therefore, the Writ Petition deserves to be dismissed.
3. In view of the above statement, the Writ Petition is dismissed. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
