JUDGMENT / ORDER

Though the petitioner applied for educational loan on 18.11.2015 giving all the details, so far the educational loan was not sanctioned to the petitioner. Therefore, he has come before this Court by way of this writ petition.
2. The petitioner obtained 92% of marks in the +2 examination and he is a meritorious student. Moreover, he has sought educational loan for a sum of Rs.2,74,080/- which is less than Rs.4,00,000/-, beyond which only the security has to be given by the petitioner.
3. Keeping the application for educational loan pending for two years will affect the education of the petitioner. Any decision with regard to the educational loan has to be taken at the earliest. Therefore, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law on or before 27.03.2017 and produce the same before this Court.
4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
5. Post the matter for reporting compliance on 27.03.2017.
