The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the case which he had filed for the cancellation of lease granted in favour of the private respondents being Case No.4354 of 2019 (Imdad vs. Jai Prakash and others) under Section 198(4) of the U.P. Z.A. & L.R. Act, was not being decided and, therefore, a prayer for a direction has been made that the case be decided expeditiously within a stipulated period of time.
Learned Standing Counsel states that all endeavour shall be made to decide the aforesaid Case.
Under such circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, it is being directed that the Case No.4354 of 2019 (Imdad vs. Jai Prakash and others) under Section 198(4) of the U.P.
Z.A. & L.R. Act, be decided within a period of six months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment. The copy of this order would be duly certified by the petitioner's counsel.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
