JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.06.2016 and disburse the terminal benefits of her husband Arumugam including family pension, within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent.
3. Mr.N.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the first respondent. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. Having regard to the limited scope of the request of the learned counsel for the Writ petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:-
?The first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.06.2016, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law in the light of the Judgment and Decree in O.S.No.237 of 2009, dated 17.11.2014, on the file of the learned Principal District Munsif, Trichy, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.?
6. Accordingly, the Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
