(Per : HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR.BHASKAR BHATTACHARYA) Copy of the supplementary affidavits filed by the respondent No.2, and that affirmed by the Municipal authority be served upon all the members of the Expert Committee appointed by us, through the learned Registrar General of this Court, by next Friday, 21st September, 2012.
After going through the affidavits, we find that number of persons infected with malaria and dengu upto the month of August of this year is almost double the number of infected persons in the earlier year upto the month of August. In such circumstances, although the final report to be given by the Committee of Expert is due in the month of November, 2012, we request the Committee of Expert to go through these affidavits and suggest immediate measures that can be taken to control and stop the number of growth of this malaria and dengu in coming months. The Expert Committee is requested to submit an interim report on the basis of the material placed before us by the respondents today. Let such report be submitted by 28th September, 2012. The Registry will see that the copy of the affidavits are served upon the members of the Expert Committee along with our order by next Friday, 21st September, 2012. Let the matter appear on 28th September, 2012.
