Heard Sri Rohit Kumar Pandey for the petitioner and Standing Counsel for State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed for mandamus directing the Branch Manager, UP Rural Development Bank, Ltd. respondent-4 to supply a fresh amended / calculated statement of account relating to loan account of the petitoner.
The petitioner has moved a representation before Branch Manager on 30.12.2017 in which he has stated that the petitioner has deposited the amount time to time as such against the petitioner only Rs. 2,28,400/- was due. While statement of account as supplied showing the dues as Rs. 3,70, 949/- is illegal. He further states that in agricultural loans no compound interest can be charged.
Without entering into the controversy raised by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to Branch Manager, respondent-4 to supply statement of account to the petitioner in the light of representation of the petitioner dated 30.12.2017, within a period of six weeks from the date of producing a certified copy of this order before the Branch concerned.
