Order:
This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“to issue appropriate Writ, Order or Direction particularly, a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in seizing the stocks from Fair Price Shop No.42 at Narsingapuram Village, Pitapuram mandal, East Godavari District on 08.01.2014 as illegal, arbitrary, violative of principles of natural justice, contrary to the provisions of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 and The Andhra Pradesh Scheduled Commodities (Licensing, Storage and Regulation) Order, 2008 and to issue a consequential declaration that the same is bad and further direct the Respondents to release the stocks while permitting the Petitioner to continue the distribution of essential commodities from Fair Price Shop No.42 and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.”
Mr.J.Prabhakar, learned Counsel for the petitioner, filed letter, dated 29-10-2014, in the Registry, wherein he has stated that his client does not want to pursue the Writ Petition and seeks to withdraw the same. Today, at the hearing, the learned Counsel has reiterated the said request.
The request of the learned Counsel for the petitioner is accepted and the Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn.
As a sequel, interim order, dated 17-01-2014, as extended by further orders, is vacated and WPMP.No.906 of 2014 is disposed of.
