JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner a trader dealing in various articles like stainless vessels, toys, aluminum articles, handbags etc. had submitted an application to the first respondent Panchayat for permission to construct a temporary shed. The petitioner had constructed such a shed and started trading. By Ext.P2 proceedings the second respondent has directed the petitioner to stop his activities. Aggrieved by Ext.P2, the petitioner has submitted Ext.P3 appeal to the third respondent. Ext.P3 appeal is accompanied by Ext.P4 petition for stay. Ext.P5 is the acknowledgment for having submitted Ext.P3 appeal. The petitioner seeks the issue of appropriate directions for the consideration of Ext.P3 appeal and Ext.P4 stay petition. 2. Heard. Since Exts.P3 and P4 are pending before the third respondent, it is sufficient that this writ petition is disposed of directing the same to be considered. In view of the limited relief 2 W.P.(C).No.32241 of 2014 that I propose to grant, I do not consider it necessary to issue notice to the respondents.
This writ petition is therefore disposed of, directing the third respondent to consider Ext.P3 appeal in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of six weeks of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Until final orders are passed on Ext.P3, implementation of Ext.P2 shall be kept in abeyance.
