ORDER:
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate grounds in any suitable post in pursuance of the G.O.Ms.No.2, dated 05.01.2013.
Both the learned counsel submitted that the issue which arises for consideration in the present writ petition is squarely covered by the order of this Court in W.P.No.18282 of 2006, dated 19.11.2013.
This Writ Petition is therefore disposed of in terms of the aforesaid order, directing the respondent corporation to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate grounds in any suitable post as per G.O.Ms.No.2, Transport, Roads and Buildings (TR-II) Department, dated 05.01.2013 and consequential notification No.PD-04/13, dated 02.03.2013 and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of 3 (three) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the circumstances, there shall be no order as to costs.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
