The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking to call for the records relating to FIR in Crime No.883 of 2013 pending on the file of the first respondent police and to quash the same.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in Crime No.883 of 2013, investigation was completed and charge sheet is made ready and he seeks time to file the charge sheet.
3. In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the first respondent police to file final report in Crime No.883 of 2013, if not already filed, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
