Heard learned counsel for the petitioners; learned Standing Counsel for respondents 1, 2 and 4; and perused the record.
The petitioners have been served with notice dated 28th December, 2020 requiring them to remove their un- authorized occupation from over Nazul plot.
The petitioners claim that they have been in possession from time immemorial and they have a right over the said land.
The petitioners have not enclosed any document of title to demonstrate that they hold the land under any instrument. Under the circumstances, we decline to entertain this petition but leave it open to the petitioners to take recourse to other appropriate legal remedies, as may be advised.
With the aforesaid liberty, this petition is disposed off. Order Date :- 19.8.2021.
