Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The primary prayer made in the writ petition, reads thus:
"(i) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned First Information Report dated 08.10.2017 registered as Case Crime No. 674 of 2017 under Sections 498-A, 506 I.P.C. & Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station-Govind Nagar, District-Mathura (Annexure No. 1 to this writ petition)."
Mr. Syed Ali Murtaza, learned AGA, on instructions, submits that a Charge Sheet bearing no. 134 of 2018 dated 4 March 2018 has already been filed, and in view thereof, this petition renders infructuous.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous. It is, however, open to the petitioner to take appropriate remedy, if he so desires and is advised, for appropriate relief.
