The sole relief claimed by learned counsel for the petitioner during the course of argument is to issue a mandamus directing the respondent no. 3 Divisional Railway Manager, Jhansi Division, North Central Railway, Jhansi to decide the Representation dated 14.5.2018 made by the petitioner.
The grievance of the petitioner is in respect of the Tender Notice No. 36 of 2018 and non-compliance of certain conditions of the same, executed between the petitioner and Railways.
Sri Vivek Rai, learned Standing Counsel who has accepted notice on behalf of respondents no. 2 to 5 fairly states that in case such a representation is made and is still pending, it will be decided expeditiously by the concerned respondent authority.
In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no. 3 Divisional Railway Manager, Jhansi Division, North Central Railway, Jhansi, where the Representation dated 14.5.2018 is alleged to be pending to consider and decide the same by a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law, after notice and opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
