Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Dhirendra Singh, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has been unable to explain the laches in filing the petition claiming the relief relating back to the year 1989. Accordingly, he submits that the writ petition may be permitted to be withdrawn as not pressed.
As such, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed.
