The Honourable Mr. Justice ... vs Dr.J.Radhakrishnan

Madras High Court|18 September, 2017

JUDGMENT / ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.4978 of 2014 dated 08.10.2014.
2. Earlier by order dated 03.08.2017, this Court has directed as follows:
''This Contempt petition is adjourned to 18.09.2017. In the meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to submit comprehensive representation to the Competent Authority seeking for Medical Reimbursement under various Schemes which support the claim. On representation being given, the Competent Authority is directed to pass a detailed order on the representation made by the petitioner within two weeks thereafter.''
3. In compliance of the above direction, the first respondent has passed an order vide proceedings dated 14.09.2017, rejecting the request for the petitioner.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the rejection order is incorrect.
5. However, it is for the writ petitioner to work out his remedy before this Court by way of separate proceedings and no relief as such can be granted in this contempt petition.
6. In the said circumstances, granting liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy before this Court in appropriate proceedings, the contempt petition is closed.
