JUDGMENT / ORDER

Shaffique,J
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.
2. Petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection. The allegation of the petitioner is that party respondents 4 to 7, who are her parents and other relatives, are threatening her. According to her, she is intending to reside on her own and on account of that harassment is being done.
3. Respondents 4 to 7 have objected to the aforesaid allegation. According to them, petitioner is having some relationship with another person. Petitioner's mother had filed a habeas corpus petition before this Court as W.P.(Crl) No.412/2014 in which petitioner was the detenue. This Court, on recording the statement of the detenue that she is not under the illegal custody of any person, closed the writ petition.
4. According to the party respondents, they have no intention to cause any threat to the petitioner.
5. Having regard to the aforesaid submission, we do not think that this is a case in which any direction can be issued, as prayed for. However, if there is any offence being committed or any attempt to commit offence , it shall always be open for the petitioner to approach the police, who shall make necessary enquiry and do the needful.
With these observations, this writ petition is disposed of.
