JUDGMENT / ORDER

Villupuram District. Writ Petitions WP No. 3507: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue new family card to the petitioner viz., P.Dhanasekaran Son of Poomalai residing at No.400, East Kattukottai, Thagamthirthapuram Village & Post, Chinnasalem Taluk, Villupuram District in pursuant to the applications dated 27.01.2011 in Application No.370 of 2011 as well as representation dated 21.12.2016.
WP No. 3508: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue new family card to the petitioner viz., K. Arokiyaraj, Son of Kuzhanthaisamy, residing at Rayappanur Road, V. Kootroad Village, Melnariyappur Post, Chinnasalem Taluk, Villupuram District in pursuant to the applications dated 27.03.2015 in Application No.43 of 2016 as well as representation dated 10.03.2016.
WP No. 3509: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue new family card to the petitioner viz., K. Arumugam, Son of Kalliya Gounder, residing at Rayappanur Village, Melnariyappur Post, Chinnasalem Taluk, Villupuram District in pursuant to the applications dated 31.05.2016 in Application No.114 of 2016 as well as representation dated 10.08.2016.

Rajavel In all the Writ Petitions For Respondents : Mr.R.S.Selvam Government Advocate in all the Writ Petitions COMMON ORDER In all these writ petitions, the petitioners seek for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue them new family card pursuant to the applications submitted by them in this behalf and by considering the representations submitted by them on various dates.
2. When the writ petitions were taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents brought to the notice of this Court a communication dated Nil.02.2017 sent by the second respondent in all the three writ petitions. As per the communication of the second respondent, the applications submitted by the respective petitioners are being processed and their claim will be considered in accordance with the instructions received by the Government from time to time and after scrutinising the documentary evidence submitted by the petitioners, including the Aadhar card and documents evidencing their place of residence. Based on the above communications, the learned Government Advocate would submit that the claim of the petitioners for issuing new Family Card is under consideration of the second respondent and the claim of the petitioners will be considered in accordance with law. The said submission of the learned Government Advocate is recorded.
3. In the light of the above submissions made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court is of the view that no further order is required to be passed in these writ petitions.
4. Accordingly, all the writ petitions are closed. No costs.
