The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Mandamus directing the second respondent to take up his appeal dated 29.09.2016 filed against the order dated 06.09.2016 of the third respondent within a time limit to be specified by this Court.
2. It is seen from the records that the petitioner has given a complaint as against one Malathi in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.264 (part) bearing Plot No.20, measuring 504 square feet. Based on such complaint of the petitioner, the third respondent has conducted an enquiry, afforded an opportunity of hearing to all concerned and passed an order stating that the complaint given by the petitioner is baseless and has no merits. Therefore, the third respondent has rejected the complaint given by the petitioner in the order dated 06.09.2016. As against the same, the petitioner filed a statutory appeal to the second respondent on 29.09.2016, which according to the petitioner has not been disposed of till date. Therefore, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition.
3. I heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Having regard to the nature of relief sought for in this writ petition, without expressing any opinion on merits, the second respondent is directed to take up the appeal dated 29.09.2016 of the petitioner and to pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
