ORDER:
This writ petition is filed with the grievance that respondent No.2 has not approved the spot admissions of students, who belong to the States other than the State of Telangana, into Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Communications Engineering.
At the hearing, it is not disputed that the issue raised in this writ petition has already been decided by this Court by common order dated 20.11.2009 in W.P.No.24581 of 2009 and batch.
Mr. A. Abhishek Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 2 and 3, submitted that the afore-mentioned judgment of this Court will be followed, provided the students belonging to the other States satisfy the educational qualifications as prescribed under the University Regulations.
In the light of the above facts, the writ petition is allowed in terms of the common order dated 20.11.2009 in W.P.No.24581 of 2009 and batch, subject to the rider that the students of the other States must possess the required qualifications for admission into the above-mentioned courses.
As a sequel to the allowing of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.46245 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
