Mayil Vahana Rajendiran Additional Public Prosecutor :Order This petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide Police Protection to the petitioner's life and limb, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 02.11.2017.
2. It appears that the petitioner is the owner of the house bearing Door. No.64/12 Munsif Court, West Street, Sattur, Virudhunagar District. The petitioner states that she is living with her husband and that they have no issues. It is the case of the petitioner that her husband's close relatives want to get the properties from the petitioner and her husband. It appears that the petitioner has given a representation before the respondent seeking police protection. In connection with the representation, the respondent Police called the respondents 3 to 10 and found that they are not interested in getting the properties from the petitioner and that they have given a statement before the respondent Police that they will not create any problem to the petitioner and her husband in relation to the property. Accepting the statement that was made by the respondents 3 to 10 before the Police the petitioner also gave a statement that she does not want further enquiry on her representation.
3. Since the petitioner has specifically stated no further action need to be taken pursuant to the representation of the petitioner, the Criminal Original is closed.
