1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
2. This petition has been filed praying for a direction to the police authorities to give protection to the petitioners as they have married out of their own sweet will.
3. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners are major and they have performed their marriage according to muslim customs on 2.12.2019 at a Masjid at Kareli, Allahabad and their Nikahnama has been filed as Annexure-3 to the petition, which shows Mehar of Rs.2,51000/-. Since the petitioners have married against their parents wishes, they are being harassed by the family members. Hence this writ petition.
4. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to approach the S.H.O., P.S- Maudaha, District Hamirpur, who shall extend all help and protection to them under the Government Order dated 31.08.2019.
