THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER Sri. Joseph Anthony, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Sri. Vijay Kumar A. Patil, learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondent Nos.1 to 4.
In this petition, petitioner has sought for a direction to respondent Nos.2 to 4 to carry out speedy investigation in relation to Crime No.84/2017.
2. When the matter was taken up today, learned Additional Government Advocate for respondent Nos.1 to 4 submitted that the respondent have taken effective steps during the course of investigation and the accused persons have been arrested. It is further submitted that in case the investigation has not already been concluded, the same shall be concluded expeditiously in accordance with law.
3. In view of the aforesaid submission and in the facts of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the investigating officer to conclude the investigation, if not already concluded, expeditiously in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid direction, writ petition is disposed of.
