Heard learned counsel for the petitioners; learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 to 4; and perused the record.
By claiming that the respondents 5 and 6 are mafias, without disclosing whether there is any such declaration or any case registered against them, this petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking a direction upon the third respondent (S.S.P., Farrukhabad) to protect the property rights of the petitioners from illegal encroachment by respondents 5 and 6, who are private individuals.
As the dispute is between private individuals in respect of property rights, we decline to entertain this petition. The petition is dismissed without prejudice to the right of the petitioners to take recourse to such other legal remedy, as may be advised.
