JUDGMENT / ORDER

1. The petitioners - applicants have taken out application being Civil Application No.5404 of 2012 seeking below mentioned relief:
"8(B) This Honourable Court be pleased to dispose of Special Civil Application No.13801 of 2008 by passing appropriate directions which the Honourable Court deems fit as the same orders are passed in Special Civil Application Nos.16154 to 16169 of 2010 and Special Civil Application No.3441 of 2012 in the interest of justice."
2. Mr.
Joshi, learned advocate has submitted that the application and main petition i.e. Special Civil Application No.13801 of 2008 may be disposed of by directing the respondent - competent authority to decide petitioner's representation dated 8th January, 2005 and other subsequent representations.
3. Mr.
Joshi also submitted that in case of other similarly situated persons, particularly in case of the petitioners in Special Civil Application Nos. 16154 of 2010 to 16169 of 2010, the respondent authority has, after considering the order dated 13.07.2011 passed by the Court in above mentioned group of petitions, already passed an order dated 22.10.2011 and that therefore, petitioners pray that their representations also may be accordingly considered.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, writ petition and civil application are disposed of with the observation that the competent authority of the respondent may take up the representation dated 8th January, 2005 and other subsequent representations made by the present petitioners for consideration and pass appropriate order as expeditiously as possible and preferably within 10 weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. The decision which may be taken, may be communicated to the petitioners.
5. With the aforesaid clarification and observations the writ petition and civil application are disposed of. Rule is discharged. Ad interim relief, if any, stands vacated.
