Petitioner was a person who had permit within the Kannur Municipality area. Petitioner, admittedly, had not renewed it and the permit expired two years back. He now seeks renewal of the permit as also allotment of the earlier number so as to retain the Kannur Municipality parking permit.

Petitioner would, necessarily, have to make a fresh application. There is no question of revival of an application, which expired two years back. In such circumstances, the writ petition is dismissed.
