Madras High Court|04 April, 2017

JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S. NAGAMUTHU,J.,) The petitioner is the mother of one Sathishkumar, aged 17 years. It is alleged that Sathishkumar was found missing from 29.08.2016 onwards. In this regard, the petitioner has made a complaint to the police, but, according to her, no action has been taken to secure the detenu. Therefore, the petitioner has come up with this habeas corpus petition.
2. Today, when the matter has been taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's son has eloped with the wife of the second respondent and this fact has come to light during enquiry. Thus, according to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there is no illegal detention. In view of the same, we find no merit in this habeas corpus petition. Hence the petition is dismissed.
