Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel who has accepted notice on behalf of the respondents. He prays for and is granted weeks' time to file counter affidavit. Petitioners will have t three weeks thereafter to file rejoinder affidavit.

List after expiry of the aforesaid period.
Considering the facts any selection and appointment to the post of Sub- Inspector, Civil Police ( Ranker) on the basis of written test held on 13.3.11 shall be subject to and abide by the result of this petition.
