The petitioner claims to be an agent of private finance company and had been taking money from the investors and deposited with the company for higher return of the money. It appears that the company for which the petitioner was collecting money has been closed and is not traceable and the public from which the petitioner has taken money has now coming to the petitioner for return of the money and the company in which the money was deposited has absconded. As such, the petitioner is in lurch that his life is in danger and approached the police authorities for lodging of an F.I.R., but the police authorities are not lodging an F.I.R.
The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Moradabad to issue appropriate direction to the concerned police station for lodging an F.I.R. as the petitioner claims.
