Heard learned counsel for the petitioners; learned A.G.A. for the respondents 1 and 2; and perused the record.
The instant petition seeks quashing of the first information report dated 16.3.2019 registered as Case Crime No.53 of 2019, under Sections 452, 323 and 354 I.P.C., P.S. Chandwak, District Jaunpur.
The allegations in the impugned first information report are as regards outraging the modesty of the informant (victim) as also assaulting her after gaining entry to her house.
Although, the petitioners have claimed that the allegations are false but there is no satisfactory reason disclosed to demonstrate as to why false allegations would be levelled against the petitioners.
In view of the above, the prayer of the petitioners to quash the first information report cannot be accepted.
The petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to apply for bail.
