The petitioner, a stage carriage operator has been granted a regular permit on the route Kariyad - Thalassery for conducting services with vehicle bearing Registration No.KL-59 A 5901. Though the permit was granted on 22.01.2014, the same has not been issued to the petitioner for the reason that the timings of service have not been settled. The petitioner had therefore submitted Ext.P3 application for the issue of a temporary permit. He has filed this writ petition seeking the issue of appropriate orders to consider Ext.P3.
2. The learned Government Pleader on instructions submits that, Ext.P3 has already been rejected. However, the regular permit granted, would be issued without further delay.
3. According to the counsel for the petitioner, there is a vacant set of timings available, in which, another stage carriage bearing Registration No.KL-13 H 5436 had been operating. Therefore, he seeks the issue of the regular permit in the vacant timings that were available.
In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to issue the regular permit granted to the petitioner as per Ext.P2, after settling the timings of the service, as W.P.(C)No.14930 of 2014 2 expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two weeks of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
