JUDGMENT / ORDER

On 09.07.2012, the Court passed the following order;
The applicant has taken out this application for seeking extension of parole leave which is expiring today. The reason for extension of parole leave is his treatment. The extension application was rejected by the jail authority. The prisoner-applicant-in-person is present and he submits that he is ready to present himself for appropriate treatment and medical examination before the doctors in Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad and as per his say the requisite examination could be done on Tuesday i.e on 10.07.2012. On 10.07.2012, he would be presenting himself before the authorities in Civil Hospital, who may examine and opine with regard to his condition and give him treatment appropriately. Someone be deputed by the jail authorities with all his medical papers so that the prisoner- applicant can apprise the doctors of his present condition and past treatment.
The parole leave, which is expiring today is hereby extended for further period of four days. Now, it shall end on 13.07.2012. S.O. to 13.07.2012. On the next date of hearing the jail authorities also shall produced on record the doctors' opinion obtained on prisoner's examination on 10.07.2012.
Office to make available copy of this order to the learned APP for its compliance, today.
Learned APP has received instructions and is placing on record certificate from the Medical Officer, Central Jail Dispensary, which is accompanied with a certificate issued by Assistant Professor, B.J. Medical College & Hospital, Ahmedabad and as per the opinion of the Medical Officer of the Central Jail Dispensary, the treatment could be made available even if the parole leave is not extended and the opinion of the doctor of the Civil Hospital is also on the same line.
In view of this, the parole which was extended till 13.07.2012 is also extended for one day more i.e. up to 14.07.2012 and the applicant-prisoner shall surrender by 14.07.2012 to the jail authorities and thereafter, as per the assurance given, all requisite treatment shall be accorded to the applicant-prisoner and his complaint regarding his ailment shall also be attended without any delay.
The application is, thus disposed of. The extension of one day parole leave is only to enable the applicant-prisoner to surrender in time. The jail authority shall accord all the treatment through the competent doctor, if required to the applicant-prisoner.
Copy of this order be made available to the learned APP today for its onward communication and compliance.
