Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Civil Appeal No. 27 of 2019 (Harvendra Singh and others Vs. Shahzad and others) expeditiously and preferably within stipulated period.
The Court finds no ground to invoke its extraordinary jurisdiction under Article 227 of the Constitution for framing any peremptory direction for out of turn disposal of an appeal which has been preferred in 2019 and assails an order passed in 2016. The petitioner has also failed to establish that the roster of that court would warrant such a direction being framed.
The petition stands dismissed.
