Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State.
Present petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent no. 3 to take appropriate decision on the petitioner's application dated 10.5.2021 in accordance with Government Order dated 1.5.2017.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn attention of the Court to the Government Order dated 1.5.2017.
Learned Standing Counsel submitted that he has no objection in case a direction is issued to respondent no. 3 to decide the application of the petitioner.
In view of above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 3 - Sub Divisional Officer, Sambhal to decide the application, if any, of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of self attested copy of the order, which may be verified from the official website of this Court.
It is made clear that this Court has not considered the claim of the petitioner on merits.
