This writ petition has been filed with the prayer to direct the respondents nos. 1 to 3 to make proper and fair investigation in pursuance of F.I.R. dated 29.1.2002 in Case Crime No. 46 of 2002 under section 7/13 Prevention of Corruption Act and 384 I.P.C., police station Bilaspur, District Rampur.
The petitioner who is the informant of the present case has come up with the prayer that the direction be given to the respondent nos. 1 to 3 for directing a fair investigation in the matter.
Learned A.G.A. has pointed out that the case is of the year 2002 and the petitioner, who is the informant of the present case has come up for issuance of a direction to the authorities concerned for fair investigation and its conclusion after sixteen years of the incident. He further pointed out that the accused of present case has also approached this Court after sixteen years by filing a writ petition which was dismissed by this Court.
After having considered the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner, we do not find any good ground for interference in the matter as the petitioner approached this Court after 16 years for which no plausible explanation has been given by the petitioner. The petition lacks merit.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
