JUDGMENT / ORDER

Being aggrieved of Ext.P2 notice issued by the second respondent/District Collector directing to remit the sales tax arrears and also intimating the proposal for initiation of revenue recovery proceedings in case of failure to comply with the direction, the petitioner has preferred Ext.P3 Revision Petition along with Ext.P4 stay petition before the third respondent/Commissioner of Land Revenue, which are pending. The petitioner is aggrieved of the coercive steps being pursued without any regard to the pendency of the above proceedings.,
2. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances, the third respondent/Commissioner of Land Revenue is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P4 petition for stay, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of 'six weeks' from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment. It is made clear that till such orders are passed in Ext.P4 interlocutory application for stay, all further coercive proceedings pursuant to Ext.P2 shall be kept in abeyance.

4. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the judgment along with a copy of the writ petition before the third respondent/Commissioner of Land Revenue for further steps.
The Writ Petition is disposed of.
