Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
The claim raised in this petition is for the grant of ACP benefits consequent to completion of 26 years of service as on the date of the petitioner's superannuation on 26 March 2018.
Learned Standing Counsel states that the third respondent, under whom the petitioner was working at the time of his retirement, shall duly evaluate the said claim and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law in respect of the same within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order alongwith a copy of the writ petition and its enclosures.
Accordingly and in light of the statement so made, which is recorded and accepted, this writ petition is disposed of.
It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits or otherwise of the claim of the petitioner.
