Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. appearing for State and perused the record.
This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed with the prayer to quash entire proceeding of Complaint Case No.1437 of 2004 (New No.2687 of 2005) (M/S Mukta Shree Prakashan Mandir, Meerut Versus Hariom Garg, Proprieter M/S Garg Book Agencies, Agra) under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act, Police Station Lalkurti, Meerut, pending in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, 10th, Meerut.
Learned counsel for the applicant has stated that a compromise has to be entered into between the parties as the offences are compoundable.
The applicant is at liberty to move an application for compromise within 15 days from today along with order of this Court before competent court who shall pass appropriate orders in accordance with law considering the factum of compromise as early as possible,preferably within 45 days thereafter.
For a period of 60 days from today, further proceedings in aforesaid case against the applicant shall be kept in abeyance.
With the aforesaid observation, this application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is disposed of finally.
