JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 4, apart from perusing the record. Since the issue lies in a narrow compass, this Court proposes to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself. 2. Briefly stated, the petitioner in W.P.(C)No.20251/2014 was appointed as High School Assistant (Sanskrit) on 08.06.2011 in a fresh vacancy in the fifth respondent school, having been promoted from the cadre of Junior Language Teacher (Sanskrit). When approval was sought, it was rejected by the fourth respondent through Exhibit P1 order. Aggrieved thereby, the fifth respondent Manager submitted Exhibit P2 appeal, which was dismissed by the third respondent through Exhibit P3 order. Thereafter, the Manager filed Exhibit P4 revision, which was also dismissed by the second respondent through Exhibit P5 WPC 20251&31562/14 2 order. Eventually when the fifth respondent Manager filed Exhibit P6 petition before the Government, it was also dismissed through Exhibit P8 order.
3. The petitioner in W.P.(C)No.31562/2014 was appointed on 01.08.2011 as Junior Language Teacher (Sanskrit) in the resultant vacancy that arose on the promotion of the petitioner in W.P.(C)No.20251/2014. In the manner indicated above, all through the approval of the petitioner's appointment has also been rejected by the authorities concerned.
4. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners that notwithstanding the refusal of the authorities all through to approve the appointments of the petitioners, Exhibit P7 revision, which is Exhibit P8 in W.P.(C)No.31562/2014, filed by the Manager on 18.12.2012 concerning the staff fixation for the academic year 2010-11 is still pending and that the approval of the appointments of the petitioners depends on the outcome of the decision in that revision. Accordingly, he urges this Court to issue a suitable direction to the first respondent to dispose of Exhibit P7/P8 revision of the fifth respondent Manager in accordance with law.
WPC 20251&31562/14 3 In the facts and circumstances, having regard to the respective submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government, this Court, without adverting to the merits of the matter, disposes of the writ petitions with a direction to the first respondent to consider Exhibit P7/P8 revision of the fifth respondent Manager in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
