Heard Shri Sheetal Sahai Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri Jitendra Singh holding brief of Shri Krishan Pahal, learned counsel for the respondent no.2 and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent no.1.
The petitioner in the writ petition states that against his suspension order dated 13 April 2018, he has filed a representation before the Vice-Chancellor, Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut on 2 June 2018, but no decision has been taken so far.
No useful purpose would be served by keeping the matter pending.
The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2-Vice Chancellor, Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut to decide the petitioner's representation dated 2 June 2018, Annexure-5 to the writ petition, within two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. Along with the certified copy of this order, a copy of the representation dated 2 June 2018 shall also be provided.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merits.
