By means of the present petition, the petitioner has challenged the notice dated 23.2.2018 whereby he has been asked to vacate the official quarter occupied by him in District Bareilly.
It is admitted to the petitioner that he has been transferred from District Bareilly in the year 2012. For a period of approximately more than six years, the petitioner has not vacated the official quarter. The grievances raised in the present petition regarding personal inconvenience of the petitioner cannot be taken to mean that the notice issued by the Competent Authority is bad. Even otherwise, even after a period of approximately two months from the date of the notice, the petitioner has not vacated the official quarter.
For the above noted reasons, the challenge made to the notice dated 23.2.2018 is found misconceived. The petitioner is directed to vacate the quarter within ten days from today and handover the keys of the same to the Competent Authority. In case of any non- compliance of this order, the Superintendent of Police (City) Bareilly would be at liberty to get it vacated by using police force.
Dismissed with the above directions.
