The petitioner has approached this Court seeking for the following reliefs:
“i) call for records leading to passing of Exhibit P10, Revenue Recovery proceedings initiated by the 5th respondent and quash the entire recovery proceedings pursuant to Exhibit P10 demand, by issuing a writ of certiorari;
ii) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the 4th respondent to finalise the revision proceedings No.5468/B2/14/F&CSD of the 4th respondent; and
iii) to issue such other directions or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the nature and circumstances of the case.”
2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance of the petitioner has already been projected by way of Ext.P8 before the 4th respondent/Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies Department, which is still pending consideration. The only relief pressed before this Court is for issuance of a direction to the 4th W.P.(C)No.31111 OF 2014 2 respondent /Secretary to consider and finalise Ext.P8 within a reasonable time.
3. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well.
4. Considering the limited nature of relief pressed before this Court, this Court does not find it necessary to adjudicate the issue on merits. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider and finalise Ext.P8, at the earliest, at any rate , within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the judgment along with a copy of the writ petition before the 4th respondent for further steps.
