Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.
The prayer made in the present writ petition is to expedite the proceeding of Application No. 122/K of 2014 (Shrikant Singh and another Vs. State of U.P. through Collector, Kushinagar and 7 others), under Section 27 (4) of U.P. Imposition of Ceiling On Land Holdings Act, 1960, pending before the Commissioner, Gorakhpur Division, Gorakhpur within stipulated period.

Be that as it may, without entering into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the present petition is being disposed of with the direction to the Commissioner, Gorakhpur Division, Gorakhpur to expedite the proceeding of Application No. 122/K of 2014 (Shrikant Singh and another Vs. State of U.P. through Collector, Kushinagar and 7 others) and make an endeavour to decide the same, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months after giving due notice and opportunity to all the parties concerned.
