Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of mandamus commanding the respondent no.1-Deputy Director of Consolidation, Jaunpur to decide Revision No. 2367/2017-18 filed under Section 48 (1) of U.P.C.H. Act within stipulated time.
The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the revision was filed on 25.1.2018 against the order dated 18.1.2018 passed by Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Jaunpur, which is pending since then.
Under these circumstances,respondent no.1-Deputy Director of Consolidation, Jaunpur is directed to decide the Revision No. 2367/2017-18 filed under Section 48 (1) of U.P.C.H. Act considering all the grounds, which were taken by the petitioner in the memo of revision, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
