Petitioners vehicle bearing registration Nos.KL-23-D-7314, KL- 29-B-6935 and KL-08-AN-5572 have been seized alleging transportation of minor mineral without necessary permit. Petitioners submit that they have necessary permit. Petitioners rely on Ext.P4.
2. I am not entering into the merit of this controversy for the reason that a crime is registered against the petitioners as per Ext.P5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent to release the vehicles on executing a simple bond. However, release of the vehicle will not stand in the way of the respondent prosecuting the petitioners in accordance with law.
The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
