The petitioner has submitted Ext.P2 application for the issue of a substitute temporary permit to conduct service on the route Cherupoika-Adoor in the defaulted vacancy of another stage carriage bearing Registration No. KL-02 / V 2680. An earlier application submitted by the petitioner was rejected by Ext.P1 for the reason that the original permit holder has not submitted an application for renewal of regular permit. The petitioner seeks the issue of appropriate directions to consider his application. I have heard the learned Government Pleader also.
2. SinceExt.P2 is pending consideration of the respondent, it is only appropriate that the same is considered and final orders passed thereon for without delay.
3. This writ petition is therefore disposed of directing the respondent to consider Ext.P2 application and to pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, as

expeditiously as possible at any rate within a period of 10 days of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
