Heard counsel for the petitioner.
By this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent no. 1 to decide the Civil Suit No. 499 of 2007 (Hari Krishna Charitable Trust and Another vs. kanpur Development Authority).
This suit has been filed only in the year 2007. Large number of cases filed earlier to that are waiting for their turn to be heard and disposed of.
No case is made out creating any exception in the present case. The relief sought in the writ petition cannot be granted. It will, however, be open for the petitioner to pray before the court concerned for expeditious hearing of the suit. The writ petition is dismissed with the above observations.
