Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel on behalf of respondents no. 1 and 4 and Shri Nagendra Nath Mishra, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents no. 2, 3 and 5.
It appears that the petitioner was working on the post of Clerk in the office of Executive Engineer, Jhansi Division, Jal Sansthan Lalitpur and he retired on 30.06.2007. His retiral benefits have not been paid to him till date. The petitioner is suffering from Cancer and is undergoing treatment at Gwalior. He is in dire need of money. His case has been recommended by the Executive Engineer on 25.05.2018 to the office of the Director Local Fund Accounts, Allahabad. Till date his pension and other retiral dues have not been released.
This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 4 (Sahayak Nideshak, Sthaniya Nidhi Pariksha Vibhag, Sangam Place, 7th Floor, Allahabad) to look into the grievance of the petitioner as forwarded to him by the Executive Engineer and pass appropriate reasoned and speaking order thereon within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
In case certain dues are found admissible to the petitioner, the respondent no. 4 shall ensure that the same are paid to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
