On the matter being taken up today, Shri K.R. Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel has placed on record the instructions dated 29.7.2019 sent by the Under Secretary, U.P. Police Recruitment and Promotion Baord, Lucknow, wherein it has been indicated that in compliance of the order of the writ Court the claim set up by the applicant has been considered and candidature of the applicant in the recruitment year 2013 has been accepted in the category of dependent of freedom fighter. The instruction is taken on record.
Once the candidature of the applicant as dependent of freedom fighter has been acknowledged by the U.P. Police Recruitment and Promotion Board in the light of judgement of this Court in Isha Tyagi vs. State of UP reported in 2014 (9) ADJ 331 then consequential step may be ensured by the opposite party and accordingly appointment letter may also be issued expeditiously.
With the aforesaid observation, the contempt application is disposed of and notice is discharged.
